Since SENTIDO Hotels & Resorts was founded in 2009, more than 2,500 employees –from chefs to receptionists and entertainers all the way to managers – have meanwhile been trained there. Besides the communication of expert knowledge, work sequences, rules of conduct toward the guests, the goals of SENTIDO as well as discipline and professionalism, the internalization of the SENTIDO concept of the senses is at the heart of the training program. “Across language and national boundaries, we must provide all our guests with ongoing top service, unified sequences with a high recognition value and excellently trained employees,” Schattmaier continued, “For this purpose, the Training Academy is our internal success formula. Among other things with E-learning offers – which have already been used by some 1,300 individuals – we familiarize our sales partners in the travel bureaus with our brand.”

Besides established seminars, such as the “Train the Trainer” seminar for executive personnel treating the subjects of “brand and objectives”, SENTIDO offers individual workshops customized to the requirements of the franchise partners. The programs on various topics have been developed by SENTIDO hotel experts and carried out in cooperation with international consulting agencies. The portfolio contains, for example, training on complaint management, training programs for the SENTIDO holiday concierges as well as the subject areas of kitchen and hygiene, sales, reservations, marketing and revenue management.
